Lakes & Swimming

Seven sparkling recreational lakes with two marinas provide boating, swimming, picnicking, fishing, and sight seeing. Boat rental and fishing licenses are  available at the Balboa and DeSoto Marinas. Balboa Lake, with 944 acres, is the largest lake in the Village. For swimming, there are the Balboa and Cortez swimming beaches, DeSoto's Olympic size outdoor pool, and the Coronado Natatorium with a 25 meter indoor pool.

Hot Springs Village is located only 14 miles from Hot Springs where you can find an amazing variety of entertainment, shopping, and sight seeing. Hot Springs also hosts major attractions each year including the Summer Arts Festival, the Miss Arkansas Pageant, Octoberfest and more.
